Dear Customers -
Although the weather is far from Spring-like, people are lifting their spirits - thinking about better weather to come, and new things to make for the new Season.
New linens and linen mixes will be here soon, as well as the new Season's viscose and cotton prints. Some Spring tweeds are already in, (think Chanel type), and coordinating crepe; also available to order. Perfect for an outfit for a Spring event.
Boiled wools are very useful now for a coat or jacket or gilet, until the weather warms up. Needlecords and ponte jerseys are also perfect for tops and tunics, skirts and dresses at this time of the year.
There are still some sale bargains to be had, and a look in the remnant baskets is always a must, for a hidden gem.
Weddings, Civil Ceremonies and Special Events
More and more Brides, Mothers of Bride and Groom ( it's a big day for them too), are turning towards having a bespoke gown or outfit made, for a perfect fit, and a one-off design - just for them. Something special, different and unique - thereby avoiding the horror of a guest arriving in your outfit!
Phone or pop in, for some help with ideas, information, and to see what fabrics are available to help create the look you are thinking about.
Give yourself plenty time too; dressmakers are busy, and sometimes fabrics need to be ordered.
